MTN Customers, both on prepaid and post paid data plan can now enjoy fast, easy, reliable and unlimited wifi access in the hotspots worldwide.
The MTN wifi roaming service is available on smartphones, tablets, laptops, apple iOS and all internet enabled devices and android operating systems.
To access MTN WIFI Roaming services, follow the following steps:-
- If you are using an android device, text WiFi to 131 to download the App from MTN NextApp Store.
- Or you can Download from MTN Play, Apple Appstore and Google Play over local 3G or WiFi Network.
- You need to Switch your device WiFi option and click on the MTN WiFi Roaming App.
- For a new user you will receive an SMS with your login details; Username which is your Phone number and Password which will be sent to you via SMS when you travel and you are closer to available supported WiFi hotspot.
- If you are an existing MTN WiFi Roaming customer, you will receive a welcome message each time you travel to a new destination
- Login using your {phone number} and {password} which was sent to you via SMS earlier,If you have enough airtime/credit, the system will bill your account and will activate the daily pass.
- The bundle is valid for 24hrs after activation
